Question for the honored elders: when TWIN PEAKS was first airing, before the reveal, was there a prevailing belief about who killed Laura Palmer? Did everyone think it was Leo?

There are two all-time master thespians in the practice of corpse-acting. Sheryl Lee, who played Laura Palmer in TWIN PEAKS. And Terry Kiser, who played Bernard Lomax in WEEKEND AT BENRIE’S.

I’m pretty sure the first one I saw in the theater was LETHAL WEAPON 2 when I was 9. I recall being hypnotized by the ads and my mom forcing my dad to take me. He didn’t like going to movies and fell asleep in the theater and I had to keep waking him up because he snored so loud. I love that movie.

Brenda Fricker, a wonderful actress. I’ll always remember her best for her small but charming and sincere role as May in SO, I MARRIED AN AXE MURDERER; a movie I’ve seen countless times. R.I.P.

Credit where credit is due: this is now the second three-hour rated R movie Nolan has opened. I’m not one for stats but that feels like it’s got to be some kind of record, or close to one.
