The best way to get to the bottom of the McConnell question is for the governor to appoint a replacement. The GOP legislature passed a law stripping him of that power, but it goes against the state constitution. If they refuse to seat the replacement, take them to court. There’s zero downside.
I hope and pray the writing is on the wall and Trump’s reign of terror is coming to an end. If we get through this, it should make this country stronger and better. It hopefully will end the far right group such as MAGA as valuable entities in this country at least for another 50 to 100 years,
