Lani 🏳️⚧️I do worry that we are losing the ability to be petty haters. It's important to sports for people to be haters for haters sake—not on a basis subject to reason. The pettiness is also key. Haterism doesn't mean hatred, it's campy. It's fundamentally goofy to be a hater of a team no matter what
that said, I really don't know what to make of sunday's final. I sort of expect it to be a spain masterclass / argentina dismantling on the level of the spain-italy euro 2012 final. but I also wouldn't be surprised if argentina pulled off another magic and retained the trophy.
