I can sympathize with gays who aren't open because after all there's plenty of career and relationship ending homophobia that sometimes rises to the level of violence. It's the public office hypocrites who compensate by siding with or are the bullies, e.g. Mike Johnson or Lyndsay Graham.

As an avowed atheist the biblical concept I've always hoped for was hell where SOBs like Trump, Miller and a host of pedophiles, warmongers, billionaires, assorted religious charlatans and all their sycophants and enablers could reside. Eternal peace seems so unfair for these people.
