Can anyone smarter on these matters confirm what slip lane removal means? I’ve been wishing for a while that the stretch of Braddock further east wouldn’t have the ability of cars to slip right into the bike lane to avoid turning cars but don’t think that’s what this term means

Curved bit here is a slip lane You’d just fill in the slip lane (scribbled out) with grass or landscaping, and have drivers make a regular right turn instead

For what it's worth, students at ACHS are prohibited from walking between the campuses ("closed campus"). Some more color on this issue and its enforcement from 2024 in ALXnow:

This is all so peculiar. Have you asked for clarification about whether Ms Johnson has been officially speaking on behalf of ACPS regarding these projects? Her ACPS position is listed on that letter. Apologies if I missed this in the article

Yes, I have asked. Was told by PTSA that ACPS has not taken a stance on project, did not respond to questions about role being included in letter. No response from city, ACPS.

Seems as if individuals who work for ACPS should clarify whether they are writing on behalf of ACPS or representing themselves.
