Never mind that the *commandment* to care for, defend the rights of & yes, love the stranger / non-citizen among you appears more times than any other *commandment* in the Bible. The white Christian nationalist church of patriarchal repression and hate has never been big on core ideas.
huck mason@betsyshirley.bsky.social pointed out that this no-girls-allowed Christian gym's covenant replaces the Bible's usual triad of "the orphan, the widow, and the stranger (stranger = poor and/or immigrant folks)" with "the orphan, the widow, and [the unborn]." interesting.
