Rep. Max Miller on Newsmax: "If any of these things were true, I would be in prison"

Обсуждение

Ответы

this is disgusting, fight it out in private.

Did you hear that, God?

Laws written by men for men; cops are mostly males; judges are mostly males unsurprisingly, SA & DV claims brought by women are v difficult to get convictions Hard to get a TRO w/ evidence, & even if women do men ignore them w/o penalties b/c it’s men in charge who can’t empathize w/women just men

He makes a good point. He should be in prison. What the fuck are the police doing? @jaketapper.bsky.social @chrislhayes.bsky.social

Ответ для marcosantana

He doesn’t. These things take time. CPS is already investigating him and there’s a point where they transfer it to the police for prosecution.

Or a member of Trump's cabinet.

Siri, what are signs of a gaslighting abuser.

You will be, hopefully soon.

Ответ для Oeishik 🐸

Or someone just shoots him

I mean...pretty sure the statute of limitations hasn't ran out. 🤷‍♀️

Trump and his pdfile friends all laugh.

Soon enough Max. Soon enough.

Sounds like a good plan

Hoping all these vile details coming out now get you indicted asap.

if only it were that easy

Tick Tock....

Yes because US justice works so well. Like Trump is in jail after 30 women came forward and said he raped them and in some cases there's video....oh wait

FAFO Skippy. It's coming soon to a theater near you!

Noting he has not yet had charges brought or gone to court. Criminal charges require more. But still doesn’t mean he’s not abusive.

Yeah, when was the last time a notorious abuser dodged jail time

Wow, I really expected that he'll say it's all true.

It’s because we’re in a nightmare of a Trump administration where the abuse of women and children is quite acceptable, forgiven, ignored and can be immediately denied after the act and believed.

That still may happen asshole

Gonna save this clip for future playback

Heres hoping.

Of the approx 2000 children who die by abuse each year, 1/3 to 1/2 had a previous or current child protective services investigation. childwelfaremonitor.org/2024/12/02/k...

Keeping the public in the dark about child fatalities and near fatalities: findings of a new reportAt least 1,800 children die from abuse and neglect every year, and the total is probably considerably greater. Between a third and a half of these deaths may involve families that were already know…childwelfaremonitor.org

Has anyone asked him if he videotaped his wife and daughter. There might be evidence of that. Reportedly he did this over months.

C'mon, I double dog dare you to do anything about it. I'm a MAGA Republican. We do as we please.

Just gonna bookmark this one to read later.

I have worked in the Interpersonal Violence/DV space for a looooong time and unfortunately no he would not. The level of violence against women and children tolerated by our legal and protective systems is horrifying.

White privileged male says if any of the accusations were true, he'd be in jail.

Everything he says is in chapter 1 of “what signs to look for in an abuser.”

Ответ для Frontwood Southern Lawyer

Oh, come on.... at least some of the stuff is chapter 2... ??

The day is young, asshole.

So why isn't he?

homeboy is an OJ truther

This wife and child beater screams guilty every time he opens his mouth!!!!

I can't imagine that my daughter or anyone in my life could have had this happen them and I didn't get to the bottom of it. The fact that he’s evasive and defensive, and not obsessed with finding the real assailant, is clearly a sign of guilt. That poor girl. She deserves a better dad. 💔

Ohioans know how long it takes these cases to unfold, he needs to 🛑 talking. CPS won’t give him the information in am ongoing investigation!

Lol, sure Max, like Trump is in prison?? 🤣

He simply misspoke himself. He meant to say "If any of these things are true, I SHOULD be in prison". There I fixed.

Wow. That is some lack of awareness right there.

“No, it’s not true. I’ve been through TWO child protective services investigations…………” 🤔

Because we all know in our society men are always held accountable for their abuses towards women. We certainly don't go out of our way to make women into the people responsible for these things happening to them and ruin their lives. Just like meritocracy is how everyone gets where they belong.

What a Dumb-Ass ReactionAlt: What a Dumb-Ass Reactionstatic.klipy.com

“True” for white men is not the same as “true” for ANYONE else. Need to say this more.

Soon, buddy. Soon.

Something tells me that’s an eventuality

Here’s hoping that is coming soon! 🥂🍻

Pedos and abusers are free in this country if they are republican white males.

Oh so many wife beaters I know of skated in front of nice judges who let them off. Wife beaters rarely see prison.

Right then...

And if not in prison, surely serving somewhere in the Trump administration

it's weird bc i absolutely believe he's an abuser i also believe she & her father would use the system to their advantage & would easily lie for personal gain bc mr moreno had big "who the fuck do you think you are" energy in congress but he didn't do shit about his SIL but endorse him til now?

Tick Tock MFer ⏰

"the wheels of justice grind slow, but they grind exceedingly fine"

That’s the easiest problem to solve.

"We want to know their names no more!" (Him and about 150 of his sycophantic compadres...)

You will be.

Spousal abuse prosecution statistics imply otherwise

That would be true if there was equal and impartial justice. Separate observation—this guy is his own worst enemies. What a creep!

Tick tock, Max.

As you should be. Also, take Gym with you. And Bernie.

Our criminal justice system being a complete shitshow doesn't make one innocent.

Go straight to prison you evil lying bastard.

That movie 'Evil Dead Burn' was about this dude.

Oh, you will be.

L

I think it goes indictment, trial, conviction, sentencing, imprisonment. Of course the MAGAFascists sometimes get the order confused.

Quiet piggy

J

It is word for word the same explanation Trump trots out when trying to explain away his criminality and corruption. The Republicans hold only a one-seat majority, so they have to love the man—they cannot do without his vote

“I’ve never tested positive for domestic violence.” The Lance Armstrong defense.

His hairstyle should be illegal.

Why isn’t he in prison?

🙄 Trump has been convicted and he's not in prison.

Ответ для paghetti

soon.

Has anyone followed up on the daycare story?

No, because women see everyday the system barely protects them and their children, actually it's forcing both women and teenagers to carry unwanted pregnancies even from rwpez even if their life is in danger.

Uh, not if you’re in the Republican Party. I think I’ve seen enough of them escape consequences.

keep a good thought!

"If I were a criminal, I'd be in prison" is the new way Republicans advertise the fact that there's no longer rule of law

Ответ для DistrictofAlex

bingo

Smug mug

Trump, OJ, a bunch of ICE agents, almost every domestic abuser, and every January 6er proves that isn’t the case

Wish it worked that way.

Give it time, bro.

Keep this in the ‘when he gets arrested’ file.

He should be!

"Being true" and having enough evidence to present in court are not the same thing...

Ответ для Steve

Exactly. Lots and lots of things are true, without ever having been proven "beyond a reasonable doubt.'

Simply "walk right in, step right down, daddy let your mind roll on."

Soon Max…soon

If only that's how it worked.

It’s still early, Max. Don’t count your chickens before they’re hatched.

Sadly, that’s not how this works. If it worked like that you’d be in prison next to several Trumps

Okay. Sounds like a plan.

May it only be a matter of time!

I mean, give it a minute, CPS is a mess.

Clock's not done ticking, dumbass.⏳

From your lips to Xenu’s ears, buddy.

Ummmmmmm...

Oh don't worry, that's what comes next.

I mean, Trump should be in prison right now too. It’s not the flex he thinks it is.

Ответ для ms_intexas

And Trump has been convicted of 34 felonies as well as being named an adjudicated sexual abuser in a civil case.

Here's hoping.

We have Rep. Max Miller’s political snapshot for anyone unfamiliar with him 📸

True your boss is a convicted felon! How come he’s not in prison???

False. We know things to be true about many republican officials including the fish head at the top - and they are not in jail.

Sorry to be unscientific, but I find this man's eyes very scary

Ответ для Sane English

Maybe, but you would pardoned in time to try an keep your seat for the spray-tanned toddler. But then you’d owe the “pardon fee”, which starts at $500k, and your rich father-in-law is unlikely to pay it. Never say never, though, even if you hit his daughter. It is a cult, after all…

Sounds good to me!

Sure. Like all the pedos and rapists currently are. 😏

Now do Epstein files Max

Tee hee keep escalating maxine

It would seem money and political clout can often times be used and abused to postpone or even disappear justice.

Well we see there is now clearly two tiers of the justice system; so no.

As long as the president protects you, you have nothing to worry about, you prototypical innocent man.

That’s the face of an abuser.

i can hear the curb your enthusiasm music

His face seems to be everywhere. 🤔 It's getting to be monotonous and annoying. 🙄

He seems like the type that would show his true colors if a female journalist questioned him

Inshallah

Tired argument

Oh look, another dead-eyed Republican.

Donald Trump, a convicted felon, begs to differ.

Stupid autocorrect. Try this again. Ahh, but the fact that you are not in prison does not necessarily make these things untrue. Just not yet adjudicated.

America is just an abuse supporting Country now! The more abusive, cruel, disgusting, evil, repulsive and vile you are.. the higher, further you'll go!

If thats his measurement... so would trump

. . the process is slow, but you will get there someday . . . because maybe you'll do it again to someone else . . . maybe they will get undeniable and solid evidence . . . evidence that will put you away, you piece of shit. in the meantime, live with what you have done, you piece of garbage

We need more Francine Hugheses in the world. RIP.

One day, you will be, motherfucker.

Wishcasting

not how it works

Being part of two year-long CPS investigations isn’t the brag he thinks it is. 🥴

Hopefully he'll be on a plane to El Salvador.

Sounds like someone should call the Ohio State police

Oh trust me i believe that's coming sooner then you think asshole

Ответ для chichi60

🙏

Save this post!

Look at him blinking

If you have money and/or connections, prison is an extremely hard thing to achieve in this corrupt country's "legal" system.

Magic 8 Ball: “ask me again later”

Let's work on that. shall we?

Say, I have a brilliant idea.

“I’ve been investigated time and time again” is very normal and something innocent people say all the time.

Ответ для MarjeeC

Like Trump admitting that "I'm audited (by the IRS) every year" as if that's something the IRS is doing wrong, and not just Trump's accounting guys seeking every loophole including some that aren't allowed.

Lock him up

Patience.

This guy has three different accusers, but he's not wrong. 🤣🤣🤣

In the Age of Trump, only the innocent end up in prison.

Better late than never.

This is how bad liars talk. They don't say "I didn't do that." They say "But why would I do that? It wouldn't make any sense for me to behave that way." It's like they're trying to elicit your help in convincing themselves that they didn't do the thing they did. It's such an obvious tell.

What a utopian view of the criminal justice system.

My former brother-in-law said the same thing in family court. Even though my sister had video of him physically abusing my nephew, because the DA ultimately dropped the case, he was able to say “hey, it’s not like I’m a convicted child abuser.”

He's white.

So he’s calling his father-in-law a liar too? 🤔

I remember her movie all too well. And I miss her.

Hey, now, justice works a bit more slowly for white men in Congress.

He should be in prison for the fake 911 call and hate crime report he made against a Doctor, which he is currently being sued for. That is a criminal offense. He should be in prison for both times he harmed his daughter and then blamed somebody else.

inshallah!

In his demented world people go to jail either before they commit crimes or as they are committing crimes…

What a nauseating, repulsive bastard. My heart breaks for his daughter.

Nope, you are a well connected white guy, unlikely you’d be in prison.

He gives me the ick, the yuck and the eeew.

Ответ для 🥒🐸🌮🦋 Anemia B

Entitled mediocre drunk frat boy sez some really stupid words. Ho hum.

Sure, because mediocre white men don’t get away with anything.

The sad part is he likely would NOT. Most abusers like Miller intimidate their victims into not pressing charges, and our system is set up to support that outcome, thus supporting abusers. Max Miller broke a toddler's collarbone and scalded his wife. He will likely not pay a price for doing so.

Not with a criminal as President while you do his bidding for him, clown.

Because, as we all know, abusers ALWAYS experience consequences for their actions. 🙄

OH FFS! The number of #Abusers who skate through the patriarchal domestic (civil, not criminal) courts because #LAWENFORCEMENT systemically protects MEN is a number too high to calculate. Among them are locally-"known" men ~ they get extra fast skates! He knows this because he has BENEFITED from it.

Class, what is the difference between “necessary” and “sufficient”?

Some Drake ass reply right there.

He should be in prison.

Patience, boy. Patience.

Most custody cases go through family court which are not equipped to deal with criminal charges....just sayin.

Ответ для JessC

Family court, particularly custody cases, focuses on the child, rightfully so. It’s not the same as criminal charges, which require a higher proof. And I’m glad of that, because children should always be the focus.

Unfortunately with domestic violence the abuser may never end up in prison.

A statement only a white guy would make. #privilege

Didn’t CPS clear him on that one charge?

Ответ для jcar8mm

No.

Ok, let’s do it

Should and would

Right…because that how it always works out. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Never too late.

Scum of the Earth

This is going to be gold for when he gets sent to prison.

F

Here’s hoping

State of Ohio: do your thing. Don’t do a Gym Jordan.

Soon enough I imagine.

Yep, and I hope he gets there.

And you should be

Bookmark this one folks

Give it time, homie

Maybe we should have some kind of system with rules and referees to determine whether or not things like that are true... Some kinda... court, or something... 🤔
