I think to some degree, re-framing your perspective would help. A 2CC/3CC is something worth celebrating! It's not 2nd/3rd place - you cleared the game under the stipulations provided, that's a 1st in any dev's book. Getting a 1CC from there is more like cutting down your time in a race
