The bill is purportedly intended to sanction #Russia—but it barely does that. What it does do is hand #Trump the most powerful #tariff authority he’s ever had. It would allow Trump to levy new, 100% tariffs on our trading partners. Astoundingly, #Democrats are expected to help pass it. #TheBulwark
