Douthat was excited by Trumpism, and reluctantly admits it hasn't lived up to his dreams. In fact, it's been "corrupt and bullying and destabilizing." But don't worry! Trump won't make a 1000 year Reich, so all the bad isn't that bad. And it doesn't discredit the right-wing populist vision. 3/x
