Marquette poll: "88% of respondents said the U.S. has “not achieved its goals” compared to 12% who said the war has been a success." For reasons of pure morbid curiosity, could we get some interviews with that 12%? www.washingtonexaminer.com/policy/defen...

Majority of Americans say Iran war has failed, 'not worth the cost,' poll showsThroughout the five-month war, Trump has repeatedly said the ultimate goal was to ensure Tehran would never obtain a nuclear weapon.www.washingtonexaminer.com

I’m certain the New York Times will be sending a safari into Cousin Fuck, Ohio to ask one of them why they still support the rapist and felon who’s actively fucking them over.

I'm sure we could. Just need to go talk to some folks in diners in rural areas of red states.

Saw a segment where someone did that, except at gas stations in PA: "If this is the cost of keeping the U.S. safe, I'm ok with it."

They're likely MAGAs who religiously believe everything their Right Wing media/SMedia tell them. bsky.app/profile/upin...

This is the gov we get when most media/SMedia are Right Wing propaganda outlets that lie to get GOP votes for dumb authoritarian con artists--because those con artists cater to the desires of the wealthy GOP media owners. As long at T/GOP cater to their desires, they don't care what else they do.

12% is shockingly low. Sure, it should be 0%, but you ever read those focus group interviews?

If you want voters to stop supporting Trumpism / MAGA Pedo TACO has to suffer BIG loses. If Pedo TACO had won we would have invaded Cuba, Panama & Greenland by now.

No, to get interviews you need someone who can coherently form a human sentence.

You want more Iowa diner stories?

Who are these 12% that set down around their kitchen table while paying bills and said; yeah this war has been a success…

Insider traders on the prediction markets.

How many of that 12% are part of Trump's online circle?

Perhaps those who surround trump and minions???

D

Putin's goals, yes. But in what sense can the US be said to have had goals? Trump's transient desires aren't really goals, the people implementing the war were just trying to keep out of Trump's line of fire, and the broader public were not informed or considered.

Perhaps they meant “the war has been a success….for the IRGC”?

For the midterms, the Iran War and its impact on gas prices are the gift that keeps on giving. Trump's inability to fix it is clear even to his dumbest supporters.

Want me to put you in touch? I'll give you half a dozen for the price of one.

“L. Harris III of Melbourne Florida stated ‘I see opportunities for rapid expansion in Iran’s civilian infrastructure’ which was a refreshing break from all the talk about bombs blowing up desalination plants”

It's pretty telling how hard they are to find that Fox and Friends isn't trotting them out at diners or whatever

12% think losing was the goal.

If Trump‘s objective was to draw attention away from the Epstein files, it was at least partially successful.

I’m sure Arkansas has a least a couple of diners.

Those are probably the people that think bombing school children is 100% acceptable.

Send some NYT journalists to some Midwest diners and you’ll find some.

What were the goals also? They were never clearly defined as far as I can remember.

“We couldn’t let them have nukes”

And how many of that 88% would turn around and vote for the guy who started it?

That 12% includes Republican members of congress

The NY Times interviews these people all the time but they label them “independent voters” or “disaffected Biden voters”

Don’t tempt the New York Times….

Presumably a strong overlap with the Epstein list.
