Republicans know that the MAGA base is full of violent, angry idiots that have quite literally proven that they will kill anyone they deem an enemy of Trump. It’s def $$ but also cowardly self-preservation. We could cut the MAGA cancer out at the root at any time, if these cowards had a spine.
