While I like this idea, having nearly been hit by a car years ago in the US, I’m really only comfortable riding a bike on dirt roads and bike paths in the US. And I ride everywhere in Holland, where the lanes are entirely separated, motorists are respectful, and dedicated bike paths are commonplace.
