So as a general rule I don't enjoy contemporary Broadway musicals. It's a very specific set of aesthetics that I just don't truck with despite loving classic musicals and opera. Hadestown solved 99% of those dislikes while still being Broadway. A truly unique and wonderful show. 🧵
Elly is 3 birds in a gardening hatOne more screen picked it up, so now I can go see the only Greek myth adaptation I'm interested in seeing in theaters this summer! (It was previously only on one screen in a small auditorium for the entire city of 1m+ and all ten showings were sold out 😐)
