Because we're in a simulation.

Car colors are and have been ridiculous for a LONG time. White, gray, black, and very little else. And then that putty gray - that's hideous. Look at traffic in TX - a sea of white and gray, with black here and there, and almost no blue, green, red, or yellow.

Sadly, it's always been that way in housing. My parents insisted on repainting my bedroom, which was light blue, pure stark white because they thought they needed to in order to sell the house. Then they didn't end up selling it anyway.

I inherited this Karastan rug from my mother 20 years ago. There’s no such thing as “Millennial Gray” in this house! Those colors drive everything.

I hate the current fad for flat gray cars. Most cars come with too few color options to begin with. Flat gray shouldn't even be an option let alone someone's choice of "color".
