I know no one wants to hear this from me as a Dodgers fan too but I also gotta mention guys like Chris Taylor, Justin Turner, Kiké, and Max Muncy (all many years before Shohei) were throwaways by other teams that all became key players pre-2024. It's not juuuust that they spend money
