Uneasy WriterThis is nonsense. $100,000 is still a lot of money. In 1971 minimum wage was $1.45 per hour. Assuming a full 40 hour work week, that’s around $3,000 per year. That was okay money, about $25000 per year. Decent money then but hardly riches.
