AAAAAHHHH! SO many! The least I can narrow is to three - Laura, The Big Sleep, & The Blue Dahlia.

assuming Classic means like from the 30s/40s. I haven't seen enough of those. If you want a much later (but still old and considered classic by today's standards) film, I have an answer though.

Not sure if it's my favorite, but I really enjoyed when the entire audience at a film festival burst out laughing during the screening of Double Indemnity when they referenced how that giant mansion cost $30,000

Noir is unfortunately a genre I don't have a lot of experience with, but one that sticks out to me is The Spider from 1945.

I'd pick Boorman's Point Blank which is pure LA Noir, but my fave is Kurosawa's High And Low. It is too multilayered to be considered a Noir, and every aspect is a fave. But these scenes are as gritty and evocative as any classic Noir
