How do you sing the words of that song in weeks of rehearsal and not understand what it’s about? The words are in English! “If our good fortune never comes, here’s to whatever comes…” Does that sound happy to you, Lin-Manuel?

Not to mention “It takes a wedding to make us say, ‘let’s live another day…’” Or, you know, the context of it being about the betrothal of a teenager to someone old enough to be her grandfather without her knowledge or consent?
