Tosca at Glyndebourne this evening, an opera I haven’t seen for a quarter of a century. An extraordinarily powerful production with exemplary attistry from both the cast and the orchestra. It’s one of those operas which nothing quite prepares you for. Utterly relevant to today’s world sadly.
