Not to spoiler the joke, but for anybody who wonders why it maxes out at 500: the EPA was like this level air pollution is so hazardously unhealthy that there's nothing we can recommend past this. At or above 500, seriously, don't breathe this shit without filtration
RedwoodGirlThe air quality in parts of Oregon and most of Washington state is somewhere from "unhealthy" to "this is fucking toxic". Wear an N95 mask if you have to go outside, and use an air purifier inside. Also the AQI scale only goes up to 500 and it's getting maxed out. We're gonna need a bigger scale.
