A fun thing about our new form of govt is how eagerly Councilors work for new parks to be built in their districts while also slashing the parks budget overall + not addressing the capital repair backlog
Councilor Olivia ClarkI have been in contact with Pearl District Neighborhood Association leaders, who tell me that this site was once slated for a “gateway park” as part of the original River District Plan. My hope is that something positive for the community can come out of this.
