DRC's Ebola outbreak is now the second largest ever recorded, 3,532 cases, 1,556 deaths. USAID funding to DRC fell from $1.2 billion in fiscal 2024 to $67 million by the final quarter of fiscal 2025. The CDC has lost a quarter of its workforce since January 2025.
