Both of my kids have ADHD and autism, two highly heritable conditions, and I suspect I have them too. I'd love to also be able to receive treatment like my kids. Testing is $3k+ out of pocket. NPR says nothing about the cost of diagnosis being a barrier, just blithely encourages getting it done.
