ED BRUBAKER & @seanphillips.bsky.social: this year I completed a full read/re-read of their entire creator-owned catalog and it was a hugely rewarding experience. I love mysteries and these guys are our masters. RECKLESS and FATALE are my faves. I even read FATALE back to back twice in a row.

That's my plan for this year too. Finished re-reading all of CRIMINAL recently, before starting on FIVE GEARS IN REVERSE, and gonna jump into their other work together soon. They're one of those teams where there isn't a single bad book in their catalog; just stuff I prefer more than others.

DERRY GIRLS: I’ve watched and rewatched all three seasons several times. It must be the most profane feel-good show I’ve ever seen, which is impressive given that it’s set in the Troubles in 1990s Northern Ireland. Sassy, blasphemous, eccentric. Amazing soundtrack. youtu.be/T-0k4WMorps?...
