that she won't interfere with fate. She once had Legionnaires' disease, dropped into a coma, and flatlined, and her then-husband had her resuscitated. She told me she never forgave him because she believes it was her time to go, so I know she's serious about sticking to only non-invasive treatments.
As much as I may personally disagree, I know how incredibly difficult chemo can be, and I know I won't change her mind. So, right now, my job is just to be there for her as much as possible. This is one of those times it sucks not to have a car because she just moved clear to the other side of town.
