still thinking about the bristling lecture I got from a USCIS adjudicator this AM about why an I-130 immigrant visa petition does not pertain to an "immigrant visa" because "visas are only for people outside the US, we don't do those here." yes generally much easier to talk it out with IJs than adjudicators, although of course you'd better come 300% correct if you're going to try to correct an IJ on the law! It certainly does happen though
