Iran's target choice seems wild to me. Start hitting swing states man

Lindsay Beyerstein

This is a crisis of federalism. Tim Walz is asserting as fact that Iran attacked water infrastructure in Minnesota and several other states. And Trump is saying it's Minnesota's own fault they were attacked as part of a war he started.

They’re probably hunting for money not leverage.

I mean given Trump’s reaction it’s hard to imagine a better strategic choice. Sows division, makes Trump sound like he wants to end the republic, etc.

What better target than a state he’s actively feuded with on the regular

this is like when they hacked bluesky, the most anti-iran war platform imaginable

"Imagine if the murderous theocrats were smart" is similar to "imagine if the fascists were smart" in that the ideology requires you to be dumb as shit.

Maybe it’s sort of the Iranian version of bombing Ahmadinejad’s house in hopes of him becoming president. Will Stancil will surely rise up if they turn off his water

They might be testing a theory that Trump will let them do whatever they want to blue states

Between Maine, Texas and Michigan there’s gotta be some dumb asses with “password123” somewhere lolol

“Donald Trump cares a great deal about Minnesota, it must be very important to him.”

Maybe they got confused and thought we were Michigan?
