Wondering if the “friendly” fire resulted in death and/or injuries and that’s why it’s more complicated?

In a place where everyone can carry guns, references to a “gunman” become very confusing. Good guy or bad guy? Someone who shoots a gunman: good guy or bad guy?

I read the article and I have no clear idea wha happened. It could have easily been a guy ‘proudly’ walking around with his AR and someone else thought he was going to shoot up the place and opened fire on AR guy. Did AR guy shoot first or did people get scared and opened fire on AR guy?

This is where I live. My son was at work very nearby, in the same shopping area, and had to lock down. Once he was home safe i spent the rest of the day being so goddamn mad that we have to live like this. Nobody is safe anywhere in this country.

The problem is not enough guns. Only when everyone is armed and ready to shoot at any threat will America become really safe and polite.🤔

something about the in-n-out opening only a week ago really gets me, i am not sure why. the guy who was filming (?!) then left bc he thought the guy was getting more weapons? ??? whole thing is awful!

Murder has been happening since people have existed. I just don't understand why we have to make it so much easier to do.

The NRA will use this to push the “good guy with a gun” bullshit for all it’s worth.

I switched my holidays to a safer spot. Ukraine is lovely this time of year.

The threat to the community won't be over until as a country we start to address gun violence seriously. Until then, it's just going to continue.

There have been 329 mass shootings this year in America, using the definition of 4 or more shot, including the shooter. That's a rate of 1.54 per day. A list of news articles for each shooting [can be found here](massshootingtracker.site).

Failed nation, burn it to the ground and maybe something better will emerge from the ashes.
