They are sentient beings with thoughts, feelings, concerns, desires. It frustrates me endlessly that so many discount this just b/c of a communication barrier. Many humans this to other humans (same species/different birthplace) as well. 🤬 May your MIL be well soon and her sweet Corgi relieved.
