I've used mostly BSD systems (freeBSD → OS X) from ~1998 until 2021 when I had to set up a dev environment on Windows for 2077 and found it mostly a reasonable experience. Now trying to remember all the wild little detail to get stuff running in macOS is seriously testing my memory (and search)
