Science shouldn’t be political, says NIH Director Jay Bhattacharya. He just killed a grant studying the “health and socioeconomic factors contributing to cognitive aging and Alzheimer’s in African Americans living in poor neighborhood”. What could possibly be the objection here? Oh yeah. Racism.
