#NZpol Back to when "people were just better behaved"? In my schooling through the 80s and TF only a year of the 90's: Primary AND Secondary: 1. Caning: they'd drip lemon on it, hold kids head under desk, and get a "2-for-1": head snaps back and hits desk when caned. 2. Strapping: *heavy* use.
