It would appear that the drain solenoid in my dishwasher has ceased to be. Bereft of life, it rests in peace. If my dishwasher was in better condition, I’d consider replacing it but the door seals are rotting, the pump gasket is curling, the drain hose is Gerryrigged, so it’s in need of replacing.
