Even if you could move all of the light poles and other fixtures, there is no room to widen the sidewalk. A very expensive wall is in the way. Sidewalk is too narrow for pedestrians and bike riders to safely share.

I'd like to see something done, my oldest has been biking to school and there is room for improvement to the corridor generally
On the north side of W Braddock by the Minnie Howard Campus of ACHS they provided a better sidewalk. However, before and after the campus the sidewalk narrows and widening the sidewalk would be challenging and expensive, especially as you head west.
