Unpopular take incoming - Lots of people defend this with 'socialism isn't a poverty cult' and I think this has just become an accepted meme because of people defending Hasan or whatever but I also think being a socialist would make you think maybe buying $630 shoes probably isn't a great look?

Genuine question: Would you prefer them to buy cheap shoes most likely made in a sweatshop by an extremely underpaid worker or (if they can afford it) buy these shoes hand made by artisans, from more sustainable materials, that can likely be repaired/ maintained for a much longer lifespan?

I mean if these shoes are $630 i'm sure there are cheaper ones going that meet the criteria of not being made in a sweatshop in Bangladesh or something.

1. Designers sometimes lend items to notable ppl for publicity. We don't know if she owns these. 2. I love your videos and the research you put in them. I think it would be worthwhile if you did some research into ethical fashion (Justine Leconte is a good jumping off point).
