Cost of car maintenance is more complex than this. I once bought a cheap compact car and it turned out to be expensive to maintain because of the labor involved in fixing a compact car. Like they had to virtually take the thing apart to get to the part to be replaced.
Solider FehlschussIsn't there a point to the argument? There's reasons why trying to maintain a luxury car on a budget tends to go really wrong - everything on it is expensive in parts and labor. The money to maintain something tends to scale with the money to buy it new.
