Is it really a "deal"? Isn't it "self-dealing"? And isn't self-dealing a crime? So please, call it that - a "crime". It's more accurate, & more honestly conveys what Republicans are doing here.

An acting AG can just say he wants his client to have immunity and that becomes fact? Same with the ludicrous 1776 billions? An acting AG should not have that privilege to just hand over tax payers dollars to whomever. That doesn’t make any sense.

Won't Blanche just refuse to put it in writing and then continue on as Acting A.G.?

Under what authority can any AG grant anybody immunity for criminal activity?? Doesn’t any such grant have to come from the judicial branch and cite either the constitution or some law passed by the legislative branch?

Didn't a judge quash this settlement, including the IRA immunity? What am I missing?

Not that I think DJT should get a deal from IRS, but given imperial powers that SCOTUS has granted the President, not obvious to me that any future President would have to honor this deal if actually “made”. Rather it could be ignored/repudiated at the direction of the future President. Lock Him Up!

How does the IRS immunity deal pass muster? Everyone else must pay taxes. Courts have always ruled against the crackpots who argued that taxation is unconstitutional - therefore it IS required, right? Has anyone else been granted audit immunity? Taxes keep the U.S going. Non payment is treason.

Blanche thinks Trump is his friend and will fight for him, ha ha ha ha. The Republican party is full of Blanches and fascists and it'll take about 10 minutes to replace him with someone just as corrupt who will make the slush fund and IRS immunity happen. GOP senators will go along with it.

Blanche has no legal ability to grant lifetime immunity from tax audits to the Trump/Kushner Gang. In fact,it would violate tax laws, and the underlying lawsuit was a fraud on the court, and a sham.
