I've been watching a new autistic creator, and I'm watching a video on stimming and how healthy and useful it is. She said, stim freely So...I did! Remembering what I did as a kid, how I nice automatically when very distressed to calm myself And I started rocking in bed. Hard. It felt. So good.

Nice was supposed to be stimmed. Sometimes the words that the autocorrect that I keep turning off everywhere I find it (keyboard apps, platform apps, browser, OS) seems truly hateful in what words it considers SO incorrect that it must replace them with anything else no matter the context.

Like I got instant shivers and goosebumps, my general pain level dropped FAST, and deep muscle tension that I didn't realize was painful and constant started to release. Yeah I'm going to start doing this again on purpose. When alone, we'll stim freely. It might improve my health?

The mattress springs facilitate some good stims. Bouncing, shimmying.

VERY VERY VERY! When I was really little I shook my whole crib by sticking a foot out of the bars and pushing off fom the wall repeatedly. (I also constantly climbed out to read or play by myself in the dark). I think this might be related to that stim.

I stim publicly (to a degree) because it helps my anxiety level.

I've some public ones that I'll do on subway platforms. Like the sway from my hips pivoting on my axis, while reading. But my favorite of rhythmically and gently smacking myself on the upper arm or upper outer thigh with a book? Risky. I just do not want to be perceived generally. -_-
