The reason they killed Magik in X-Men'97 isn't because of she's a woman. (She died and ruled over Limbo/Hell before.) They killed her because she's REALLY POPULAR at the moment and, it would make you feel something. They killed off Marrow and, other female characters that ep and none of ya care.
