I think just my laptop, camera, and a couple lenses is 10% of that alone. That would definitely take a lot of thought, especially since I'm assuming you probably need extra clothes, even inside.

Extra? Eh, not really. You get used to it but you need to plan for there being nine month of no fresh undies you can just go buy.

Military moves and living on base kept my accumulation of “stuff” low. Then I got out, and now have a home. My two car garage fits one car. 😎

When I moved out as a freshman, my parents made me take every single thing with me or get rid of it. It was actually great. I fled some sub-optimal living situations pretty easily. But now I have Too Much Stuff.

1. Does the 150 lbs/68 kilos include ALL required outdoor gear ? 2. What condiments are available on-Station? I might sacrifice a book for certain condiments… 3. What about bedding? I’m particular about pillows, but not sheets. I prefer a duvet but could probably survive a sleeping bag.

Your 150lbs does not include issued ECW gear. As of 23 years ago, provided condiments got no more exotic than Tabasco sauce.
