Looks like the major broadcast networks are opting NOT to air Trump's speech live tonight. Instead, both NBC and ABC will carry it on their streaming news channels (and ABC News on its radio network). As of now, CBS appears poised to air a special report by Tony Dokoupil after the speech.

They're waiting to see who airs it first and the rest will follow suit. Fox will likely be the first to interrupt programming to broadcast it, then CNN will follow and so on... Besides airing the speech on NBC News NOW instead of on broadcast TV, NBC will also feature a special report after the speech to recap what the president said. Network sources noted there's precedent for this, as Obama, Biden and Bush I were also denied primetime airtime requests in midterm years.
