The immigrant Finns still surprise me now and then. In Martin W. Bowman's B-17 bomber history, an airman complains about losing "his old radioman, Hamalainen in another B-17" over the Solomons. I read two more lines before reversing😄 The original name was probably Hämäläinen, more typical one.
