Does anyone know if older Seattle schools are getting AC any time soon?
KUOW Public RadioThe Seattle Public Library’s Fremont and West Seattle branches are closing Aug. 9 to get new, electric HVAC systems. The historic libraries were built in the early 1900s and will now be renovated with a grant from FEMA as the region increasingly experiences more severe heat and wildfire smoke.
