Had a client ask if I could swap out a stock photo with one where the people were less “exotic.”
I asked him to be more specific.
“You know what I mean.”
“I need you to say it.”
The photo stayed.
I was working on a project for a relative where he picked the stock photo, but said she looked too ethnic and asked me to make her whiter. I wound up just doing it, but it took several rounds of revisions to get her white enough to his liking, like 20% of her skin was just blown out.
