What is entailed: Eternal Return Mode is done over 72-in game hours for the Lands Between. Each death accelerates the timer by 3 hours. Once you have reached 24 hours, the game teleports you to Leyndell, Ashen Capital where you must face Sir Gideon Ofnir, and a further gauntlet.

If you lose, you restart from the beginning and must continue the cycle. First to beat the Elden Beast, Wins. This game mode is styled after Majora’s Mask. Some items stick with you, others do not from cycle to cycle.
