Question you maybe aren't allowed to answer, but do you know if you see any difference in payout between a direct purchase vs. as part of those weird bundles? i.e. all things equal can I support devs more by not using the bundle?

Interesting question that I asked myself in the past for similar reasons. It's true that bundles like this mean a little less money coming in. The revenue split works the same on the sale. (eg: steam's cut, dev cut, etc). Games you already own are excluded - the bundle discount isn't retroactive.

So by that logic: yes. If you chose NOT to use the "complete the bundle" offer, that extra dollar is money that Steam will process into Soft Rains' account. That said; these bundles are voluntary and we're happy to be alongside a legendary game like System Shock! Don't feel guilty about using it!
