read a Dr Doom comic where Richards was like "time travel and its effects are very theoretical" and Dooms like "DOOM WILL MAKE IT REALITY." he then makes a time machine and all the heroes try to stop him. Richards intervenes and Doom does go back in time. But he's on the Titanic as it's sinking.
