I did buy a PS5 primarily to play games, but the fact that it also meant that I could play 4K disc movies as well was definitely a factor in why I plunked down for one when I had the opportunity. Nuts that Sony doesn't see that as a worthwhile part of the business model anymore
leah ✧₊⁺something i find interesting abt the whole playstation ending physical releases thing is that, with no disc drive, playstation can no longer play physical movies, which is wild since the ps2 and ps3 were like extremely well regarded as dvd/blu-ray players respectively
