He's been in some absolute classic Hollywood greats, Khartoum with Laurence Olivier, Cecil B DeMile's Greatest Show on Earth, Orsen Welles' brilliant Touch of Evil. These are far superior movies to his scifi flicks, of which Planet of the Apes is the most stand out for its jaw dropping final scene.
